Annie Ferebee Short (Dancer), a Baltimore native, studied dance at Peabody Preparatory and was a member of the Arts for Talented Youth program.  The Phi Betta Kappa member graduated Summa Cum Laude from Goucher College with a BA in Dance and certification in Secondary Education.  Formerly a dance teacher at Patapsco High School and Center for the Arts, Maryland School for Ballet and Modern Dance, and for the D.A.R.E. Dance program, Annie is currently teaching dance at Roland Park Country School in Baltimore.  Annie has danced professionally with ClancyWorks Dance Company as well as performing administrative duties.  Annie is in her third season with The Collective.
